Studying two decades of data collected through the Empire State Poll, researchers have found that the cost of living dominates respondents’ key concerns, eclipsing other priorities, such as the environment.

“You do not need a policy labeled 'mental health day' to take care of your mental health,” explains Ashley Bryant, workplace disability inclusion associate at ILR’s Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability, discussing common options for taking a mental health day and employee rights.

“What we try to do is provide data and information as up to date as possible based on the best data sources we have available,” said Bill Erickson, senior research specialist, discussing DisabilityStatistics.org, a website with free maps and charts of disability data, published through ILR’s Yang-Tan Institute.
