Job Description
This  internship is with the international trade and customs specialty team. Which is heavily involved in legislative and government affairs matters. The internship will expose the intern to many aspects of international trade and customs practice including antidumping and countervailing duty cases before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
This internship would be particularly beneficial to students interested in working in Congress, for the U.S. Government, e.g. Department of labor; for labor union legislative affairs offices, for non-profit trade associations in the areas of trade and public policy, attending law school or an advance degree in economics and pursuing a career in international trade and customs matters. The intern would be involved primarily in research, writing memos, attending meetings and hearings. Courses in statistics and ability to do graphs and charts helpful.
