One major, many career possibilities

For information on careers ILR graduates pursue, organizations that employ them, starting salaries, and the law and graduate schools students attend, please see our Career Outcomes for the Class of 2018 (PDF, 398 KB).

One of the greatest strengths of a degree from ILR is that it prepares students for a variety of fields, including business, law, public policy, labor relations, non-profit work, government, and many other areas. The ILR curriculum can also prepare students for a wide range of graduate schools. Every year, approximately 10 - 15% of graduates go directly to law school and other graduate programs in public affairs, business, economics, international relations, teaching, and other areas.
