Internal Investigations: Part I

Obtain a step-by-step model for conducting fair and through investigations. Acquire skills knowledge from expert investigators. Using real employee complaints and role plays, participants will practice interviewing, policy and legal analysis and methods for gathering information. Receive extensive content on intake interview, planning/conducting the investigation and investigatory interviews.

Effective March 16, 2020, the educational programs scheduled to be delivered at our New York City facility will be moved to virtual delivery, where possible, or rescheduled. For those programs that do not lend themselves to a distance-education format, we will postpone them until we receive guidance from the University and public health officials that it is safe to hold those programs in-person. Part I of the Employee Investigations Program

Handling employee complaints internally is a highly sensitive, multi-faceted process that involves many people. This workshop provides you with a practice-based, step-by-step approach to enhance your understanding of:

  • The internal complaint handling process from A to Z
  • The legal requirements organizations must observe
  • Necessary technical and communication skills
