Overview

Diversity, Equity and inclusion has become a highly specialized profession and an increasingly essential core function in today’s organizations that is vital to nearly every company’s mission. 

In response to the growing complexity and depth of the field, the DEI for Non-DEI Professionals Certificate is designed to help managers, leaders and employees gain insights and knowledge of emerging trends in DEI and develop personal strategies for enhancing workplace inclusion and creating a workplace culture of acceptance, understanding and forgiveness to allow each person to bring their unique self to work for innovation that drives organizational effectiveness and results.

Through this comprehensive series, you will develop the skills needed to engage both employees and managers in initiatives that support diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingness. You’ll learn how to elevate your effectiveness by exploring what it takes to lead and influence across cultures and a diversity of styles. Certificate earners will discover aspects of working collaboratively within todays dynamic workforce and dive into what it takes to navigate challenges while optimizing opportunities for even better outcomes.

During the course of the program, you will increase self-awareness, engage in rich, interactive small group work focused on how DEI is implemented in different environments and gain confidence creating strategies for even better communication with staff, senior leaders and colleagues.
