Each workshop uses realistic workplace scenarios to challenge you to diagnose the sources, levels, and dimensions of conflicts, determine how to best address each type of conflict, and practice the skills necessary to play a variety of roles in conflict management.

Topics and tools focus on problem solving, listening and messaging skills, conflict styles, neutral issue statements, de-escalating emotions, developing options, facilitating and gaining commitment.

Negotiation Skills for the Workplace

Cross-Cultural Issues in Conflict

Examine the roles culture and diversity play in conflict and conflict resolution. Participants will learn to understand how differences are perceived in conflict exchanges. Activities focus on cross-cultural communication techniques to enhance conflict resolution. Dispute resolution methods, perception process and attribution theory are key discussion points.
