Roger Bybee

Roger Bybee has been a journalist, union activist, and university instructor on labor issues over the past four decades. For 14 years, he edited the weekly Racine Labor, reaching 17,000 union members in his Wisconsin hometown.  He was also active in a coalition fighting plant closings.

Bybee later served as communications director for three pro-labor organizations in Wisconsin, including Labor Strategies Inc. Bybee has conducted numerous workshops on communication strategy for labor.

Bybee has written extensively on labor, globalization, and political issues for many national labor and progressive publications. His work has been published in a number of anthologies, most recently, Protecting the Opulent: The Z Magazine Reader on the Economy.
