“WORK!” Episode 8 Now Available

In our latest episode of “WORK! Exploring the future of work, labor and employment,” Cornell ILR Dean Alex Colvin welcomes JC Tretter ’13, the newly-elected president of the National Football League Players Association. They discuss the NFL’s tumultuous spring – from the latest collective bargaining agreement, to COVID-19, to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

The starting center for the Cleveland Browns, Tretter was All-American left tackle for the Cornell football team. He became just the second Big Red player to be taken in the NFL Draft since 1997. He spent three years with the Green Bay Packers before signing a free agent deal with Cleveland. After serving two years as the Browns’ union representative, he was elected  president of the players’ association in March.

The podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Stitcher and other platforms.
