Winning Streak Continues

National competition won by students for fourth consecutive year

A Cornell team of MILR and MBA students won Big Red its fourth straight National MBA Human Capital Case Competition on Saturday.

It marked Cornell’s fifth win since the competition started in 2007.

Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management hosted the competition. GE and Deloitte Consulting provided funding and judging.

Cornell’s 2015 team, awarded a $10,000 prize, includes:

  • Bharat Kaul MBA '17
  • Joshua Jefferies MBA '17
  • Patrick Grumley MBA '17
  • Dax Howard MBA/MILR '16
  • Jenny Lee MILR '16

Teams came from graduate schools across the country to address a real-world human capital issue and present solutions. The University of Michigan copped the second-place finish and Purdue University placed third.
