Paris and Ithaca Student & Faculty Exchange

The ILR School and the European School of Management (ESCP-EAP) are delighted to announce an exchange agreement that allows students from each institution to attend the other on a tuition-neutral basis while earning course credit. This is the first ILR exchange program aimed at graduate students. ESCP-EAP has campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, and Torino. The exchange agreement will launch in Paris, with expectations to gradually expand enrollment to other European campuses. While ESCP-EAP offers a broad range of courses in English, ILR students will have the opportunity to study in French and may enroll in language courses during their semester abroad.

In turn, students from ESCP-EAP will spend a semester at the ILR School. The first participating students from Paris have already been selected and are due to arrive in Ithaca in time for the Fall 2006 semester.

The agreement was formalized in Ithaca with a signing by ILR dean Harry Katz and ESCP-EAP general director Jean-Louis Scaringella. Afterwards, ILR students joined visiting ESCP-EAP students for an information session where faculty from both schools discussed the exchange and fielded questions.

This agreement also provides for faculty exchanges between the two universities. For more information faculty may contact Sarosh Kuruvilla. ILR students interested in enrollment at ESCP-EAP please contact the ILR Graduate Office.
