Graduation Sunday

More than 300 ILR degrees will be awarded on Sunday.

There are 242 undergraduates who are degree candidates and 84 candidates for a degree through the ILR Graduate Programs Office, according to Associate Director of Advising and Counseling Kevin Harris, who oversees ILR commencement activities.

ILR students will assemble on the university College of Arts and Sciences quadrangle and walk as a group to the 11 a.m. university commencement ceremony in Schoellkopf Stadium.

Leading the contingent will be five seniors who exemplify academic excellence and service to the school, university and Ithaca community.

Kimberly Goldfarb and Rachel Dorfman-Tandlich will be the degree marshals for the Class of 2009.

Dmitri Koustas and Danielle Rosenthal will carry the school's name banner.

At noon, a reception for ILR students and guests begins in the ILR Conference Center courtyard.

At 1:30 p.m., ILR's diploma presentation ceremony begins in Lynah Rink.

Harry Katz will give the graduation address.

Professor Bill Sonnenstuhl will call the names of the graduate degree recipients.  ILR Student Services Director Laura Lewis and Professor George Boyer will call the names of the undergraduate degree recipients.
