Credit Internships

Students and staff converse at an ILR Career FairThe ILR Off-Campus Credit Program is designed to provide semester-long learning experiences for juniors and seniors through work in labor unions, business and industrial organizations, or non-profit organizations in appropriate ILR-related activities.

The program was created by the faculty of the ILR School to afford our students opportunities to enhance their understanding of the field of industrial and labor relations by working for a semester (approximately 14 weeks) in one of the professional careers it encompasses.

Interns perform their work under the supervision of a member of the organization within which they are training and, at the same time, under the direction of an appropriate member of the ILR faculty who will grade their performance. Learn more »
