What is Content Strategy?

Content strategy is planning for the creation, delivery, and governance of useful, usable content. It guides content teams to best processes for each stage of the content cycle.

The primary audience for the ILR website is incoming students, whether they are young (undergraduate or graduate) or adult (professional) learners. Secondary audience includes alumni, researchers, recruiters, faculty, staff and librarians.

The undergraduate program is the student experience, the Cornell community and the benefits of obtaining an ILR degree. Use established layout elements that include sections of optimized content with photos of students, the ILR School and the Cornell campus.

Integrate student spotlights throughout the undergraduate site so they are easily accessible.

With professional programs, the participant is looking for a workshop or certificate that helps advance or change his or her career.
