Elective Courses

With guidance from their sponsors and the Institute faculty, participants customize their own leadership development plans by choosing up to three additional courses, workshops and seminars on such topics as public speaking, financial management, grievance handling and arbitration. Cost is included in the Institute tuition, and courses can be chosen from among any offered by Cornell ILR's Labor Studies Program, Union Leadership Workshop Series, Management Development, Human Resources, or Labor Relations programs. These courses are optional and should be completed within one year of graduation. On-line courses are available.
