Curriculum

CurriculumEnrolling yourself or other leaders is a worthwhile investment of time and money for the future of your union or council.

The Institute’s curriculum— relevant, timely and concrete —covers vital leadership and management skills and tackles critical economic, political, and social questions. Presenters include prominent union and community leaders, noted scholars and educators including Cornell faculty. And the program carries 12 undergraduate college credits.

The one year program has three components:

“Leaders bring complex issues to the table at the Institute, but our learning doesn’t stop in the classroom… we’ve forged relationships across New York State that will benefit the labor community for a generation to come.”
