Oral Histories

Oral histories, documenting the experiences of three fire survivors, are available as sound recordings. We have no transcripts at this time. All are part of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) Archives at the Kheel Center for Labor-Management Documentation and Archives, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Sigmund Arywitz, California State Commissioner of Labor, conducted the oral history interviews in California.

Max Hochfield, January 20, 1957

Pauline Pepe, March 19, 1986
