ILR Multimedia Production Services
ILR Technology Services, in consultation with ILR Communications and Marketing, provids multimedia production services to support ILR efforts to create greater exposure for the school and bring ILR to the world. These services are being offered in response to increasing demand for video and audio production and give us a more cost-effective option. Don Bazley of ILR Technology Services will now be providing these services.
Don will act as ILR’s in-house media producer. Don has experience as a professional broadcast television and media producer. He has an M.S. in corporate communication from Ithaca College, has been teaching in higher education for over 12 years and has experience in instructional design.
If you are interested in or thinking about video or audio production please begin by contacting Don for an initial consultation. Don will meet with you to discuss ideas you have as well as multimedia strategies that might best support your program goals. Once a project is identified, Don can provide the videotaping and editing services required to get the job done. Or, he can work with you to determine and select another production source, should timing considerations, the scope of the project or other factors call for services outside ILR.
Don can consult with you about a variety of video and audio projects, including the production of webcasts and webinars focused on issues-of-the-day and providing outreach and professional development opportunities. He also can consult with you about multimedia materials used for:
- Recruiting and relationship building purposes, such as audio and video programs that can be targeted to prospective students, and that can be used in outreach efforts to alumni and other stakeholders.
- Public relations and communications purposes, such as interviews and produced audio and video pieces, including podcasts, that describe your program and create greater understanding of what you do. Don can work with you to record alumni, student and other ILR events, provide editing support, and help produce event summaries or “stories” that can be posted on websites or distributed in other ways to create greater exposure and build interest in future events.
- Marketing and revenue-generating purposes, such as recordings of lectures, presentations and conferences that could be appropriately edited and packaged, and then sold to educators and practitioners outside of ILR.
- Educational purposes, such as production of video modules that can be used to enhance classroom instruction.
The charges for these services are well below normal market prices for similar services. Please see the outline of services and rates below or view the PDF of ILR Media Services and Rates. ![]()
