Quick Tip

Is browsing the Internet slow?

Every time you access websites on the Internet, temporary files are copied to your PC. These files contain information intended to make the web pages open faster on your next visit. Over time, however, these files build into the thousands. Periodically, these files should be cleared out.  Here's how:

Internet Explorer:

  • Within Internet Explorer, click Tools ? Internet Options
  • Under the General tab find the Temporary Internet files section
  • Click Delete Files…
  • Another window will open; check the Delete all offline content box and click Ok

Mozilla Firefox:

  • Within Firefox, Click Tools ? Clear Private Data… (Or press Ctrl + Shift + Del)
