4/27/2007 - On Saturday & Sunday, April 28th & 29th, CIT network technicians will be moving network and voice lines in the East Wing of Ives Hall. Expect approximately 30 minute interruptions of network and voice services during these two days. This downtime is a necessary part of the Ives renovation project. It would be helpful to the technicians if you would leave your computers and printers turned ON over the weekend.
Then, on Monday morning, April 30th, please restart your computers to refresh their network settings. If you have any difficulties, please contact ILR Desktop Support at 5-5484.
4/27/2007 - On Friday, April 27th from approximately 8pm-9pm, the Oracle Calendar Server will be down for a database back-up. Users will not be able to access their calendars during this downtime. Additionally, Consilient2, NotifyLink and SyncML services will not be able to sync with the calendar server during this time.
4/24/2007 - On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 25th, the Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility pack and latest version of Citrix will be delivered to all ILR computers including ILR Extension. The MS Office 2007 compatibility pack allows documents created in MS Office 2007 to be opened and edited by MS Office 2003 without altering the version. Please restart (Start ? Shut Down ? Restart) your computer prior to leaving Wednesday afternoon. Or you may restart Thursday morning. The restart allows the needed updates to download and install. Please remember that the update may take some time to install, so do not power off your computer during the installation.
4/18/2007 - On the afternoon of Monday, April 23rd, an update for Pure Edge Viewer will be delivered to all ILR Extension (Albany, Buffalo, NYC, Rochester) computers. This application allows users to better manipulate forms on the Grants.gov website. Please restart (Start ? Shut Down ? Restart) your computer prior to leaving Monday afternoon. Or you may restart Tuesday morning. The restart allows the needed updates to download and install. Please remember that the update may take some time to install, so do not power off your computer during the installation.
4/18/2007 - AUDIX maintenance will be performed Friday, April 20th, from 4:30-6:00am. AUDIX service will be intermittent during this time.
4/12/2007 - On Saturday, April 14th, from 8am to 6pm all network connections in Ives East (including the Catherwood Library & the Kheel Center), Faculty, ILR Research, ILR Extension, and ILR Conference Center buildings will be unavailable for mandatory CIT network maintenance.
4/12/2007 - On Saturday, April 14th, the Oracle Calendar Server will be taken down at 9:00pm for maintenance. The estimated up time is 9:00am Sunday Morning (4/15). Users will not be able to access their calendars while the server is down for maintenance. Other services impacted by this downtime include wireless synchronization of PDA and Smartphone devices using SynchML, Consilient2 and NotifyLink wireless gateway services.
4/10/2007 - From 6am to noon on Saturday, April 21, and again from 5am to noon on Sunday, April 22, several central computing services will be unavailable.

4/4/2007 - The Oracle Calendar Server will be taken down at 11:00pm Friday (4/6) evening for approximately 1 hour to allow for a full system backup prior to the start of the third phase of the historical database purge. Users will not be able to access their calendars during this downtime. Consilient2, NotifyLinkand SynchML services will not be able to synch with the calendar during this time.
