Cornell Information Technologies (CIT) Oracle Calendar server semi-annual clean-up begins Friday, December 21, 2007 at 9:00 P.M. *All historical data prior to January 1, 2006 on the Oracle Calendar server will be deleted Time line: The calendar server clean-up will begin at 9:00 P.M. on December 21, 2007. The server clean-up will take approximately 5 days to accomplish. Process: All disabled calendar accounts will be deleted from the server. Once complete, we will begin purging historical data from remaining accounts. All historical data prior to January 1, 2006 on the Oracle Calendar server will be deleted. What should Oracle Calendar users expect? The server will be accessible during the clean-up, although users may experience a reduction in performance, including a temporary inability to connect to the server using the calendar web client. What if you need your historical calendar data, dated prior to January 1, 2006? If you would like to archive your historical data, visit Under Quick Links (on the right), click Make a backup or archive of your calendar data to download a .pdf that documents a procedure for exporting your calendar data.
