Tip:Working
in Pairs
--------It's hard to get
left out of a pair!
-
Cooperative
note-taking
At
a break in the lecture, one student in a pair summarizes his/her notes
for the other, to see if they agree. Or they compare notes, and incorporate
anything that either may have missed.
-
Team
anthologies
At
the beginning of a research project, a pair of students (or perhaps
two pairs working together) meet collectively to assemble the resources
for the research. Each member, then, annotates the gathered materials
individually.
