Multicultural Affairs Assistants
Multicultural Affairs Assistants assist in the recruitment and retention of minority and EOP students in the ILR School. They are expected to provide some academic, personal, social and cultural support to students within the ILR School, with particular attention given to minority students. Under the supervision of the Associate Director for Multicultural Affairs they participate and assist in organizing campus visitation programs, orientation programs, academic support strategies and cross-cultural programs. They serve as liaisons between minority students and the Office of Student Services.
Becoming a Multicultural Affairs Assistant
- Obtain an application packet which includes a job description and application form from Office of Student Services in the spring semester.
- Complete the application form and attach your résumé
- Return completed application to 101 Ives Hall by the posted deadline.
