The Legal Framework (Chapter 8) (LB005)

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, so you better know what requirements you have to meet, both for the union and for yourself as an officer. The session will cover Department of Labor reporting and election requirements, as well as tough issues like Duty of Fair Representation. We will also look at the implications for public sector unions of cases like Janus v AFSCME, and other political attacks on unionism.
