Introduction (Chapters 2/3) (LB002)

This session will look at the Organizing Model of Unionism as a way to organize your union to meet the anti-union challenges of today, emphasizing Maximum Membership Participation. We will look at activities and strategies for creating enthusiasm and commitment among your members and your community—and show you ways to sign up non-members. (As more unions are threatened with the open shop, or with the loss of agency fee payments, all the sessions will describe campaigns to sign up free riders).
