Interviewing is an art, as well as a science. Planning for the interview, accurately observing behaviors, using judgment appropriately and making informed thoughtful decisions are key aspects to selecting the right candidate for the right job at the right time.
Participants will learn how to apply skills such as, questioning, communication, judgment and decision making to reach optimal outcomes for the business and candidates. Susan F. Alevas, Esq., President, Alevas Consulting Group, Inc. Spanning more than 25 years, her previous management career included leadership in human resources and labor relations in both the private and public sectors, in addition to serving concurrently as in-house attorney for several organizations. Ms. Alevas specializes in the areas of employee/labor relations, budgeting, contract negotiations, conflict resolution, adjudication of employee grievances, recruitment and staffing, workplace ethics, HRIS operations (including the design, testing and implementation of a customized company-wide system), performance management, staff development, succession planning, and benefits administration.
