From the White House to the Workplace: Workplace Issues Affecting Healthcare Reform Outcomes
An International Conference for Practitioners, Researchers, Union Leaders, and Policy Makers

This international conference is being organized to bring together healthcare researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and union leaders to look at various approaches being established to implement healthcare reform activities. The focus of this conference will be on innovative approaches involving the workforce, leadership support of management and unions, and the use of technology. In particular this conference will be used to examine the effectiveness of current approaches to reduce costs, increasing access, while at the same improve the quality of patient care.
This conference will serve as a critical gathering to assess the impact of some of the initial healthcare reform initiatives of the Obama administration. It will be used to determine potential methods to help accelerate the spreading of best practices. Scholars, practitioners, and unions leaders from both the United States and Europe will be attending this conference.
