BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD



The Labor and Labor Movements section gives an award for the best graduate student paper written in the year prior to the award. The paper may be completed or published between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006 and the student must have been enrolled in a graduate program at the time the paper was written. The paper should be the length of a typical article (approximately 10,000 words). The winner of the award will serve on the Committee to select the next best student paper. Students can self-nominate or they can be nominated by a section member. The winner receives $150 for travel to the ASA Annual Meetings. All nominations must be received no later than January 15, 2007.
