ILR Welcomes New Human Resources Manager, Lisa Abbott

ILR is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa M. Abbott to the position of Human Resources Manager. In this role, Lisa is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing effective HR administration strategies for the ILR School's on- and off-campus resident and extension faculty and staff. Areas of focus include recruitment, retention, compensation, performance management, employee relations, labor relations, and staff development.
Lisa comes to ILR with an impressive background -- most recently as the Manager of Human Resources for the combined corporate offices of the New York State Electric and Gas Corporation and the Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation. Prior to this position, she was for six years the Lead Advisor to the Manager of Human Resources of NYSE&G and RG&E.
