Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program for employees of New York City
The MPS Program participates in the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program for employees of New York City. Eligible city employees may apply through the scholarship program and also must apply and be accepted by the Cornell Graduate School. The ILR School will grant tuition relief of $2,000 per semester ($8,000 over the length of the program) to one eligible New York City employee accepted into the program each academic year.

Please note that the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program accepts applications only once a year, while the MPS Program accepts new students on a rolling basis to begin study during the fall semester (September start) and the spring semester (January start). If it is past the deadline to apply to the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program, or if you are interested in applying to enter the program in January, please contact the MPS Program Office to discuss your options.
