Learn-for-the-Turn and Three-Tiered Portfolio

Our HR portfolio has been designed to support you throughout your career. Whether you are pursuing your first supervisory role or advancing to upper management, our growth -oriented approach provides the essential knowledge and skills you need to learn, turn and advance.

Cornell’s ILR Learn-for-the-Turn features assessments, workshops and personalized attention to help you excel in your current role; and anticipate, prepare for and accelerate your transition to the next career level.

Three practitioner levels are offered for you to tailor your development: Advanced, Mid and Foundational.  Identifying the right level of learning is the first important step to getting optimal results from your development investment.  Assessing yourself against level “guidelines” will assist you in selecting appropriate workshops.

When deciding on a level that’s right for you, keep in mind that “fit” is not always perfect.  Consult with your manager, mentor or Cornell partner to find the level and programs that are best for you.
