The Advanced Practitioner's Forum

A year-long developmental experience for CDOs-in-training

The Advanced Practitioner's Forum is a year-long program for experienced diversity professionals who do not yet hold the title of Chief Diversity Officer but aspire to that position or for seasoned practitioners who want to upgrade their skills. It is designed to create and develop a pipeline of professionals who have an interest in and the competency to advance the diversity profession. Applicants must have a minimum of seven years of experience as a diversity professional. Participants will be drawn from a broad cross-section of interested professionals.

Once admitted, practitioners must commit to attending all sessions and to completing all program requirements. Each class is limited to 25 people. Admitted practitioners will meet at Cornell University in New York City quarterly. Classes will generally commence on a Thursday mid-day and end on a Saturday evening. In addition, admitted practitioners must attend and present a paper of publishable quality during a one-week immersion program in London, England. There will also be required work to complete before each class.

Program faculty will be drawn from the members of the Chief Diversity Officers Roundtable who are current CDOs across industries, sectors, and disciplines.
