Proactive Leader Certificate

Sam BacharachA good idea is not enough. A leader must get things done. Leadership is about your capacity to initiate, implement, and sustain. It's about having skills to mobilize others and keep the momentum moving. It's about getting things done, and keeping people on your side.

The three workshops that comprise the Proactive Leader Certificate will teach you the competencies you need to move an agenda through your organization. You will enhance your leadership skills as you learn the strategic and tactical components of developing an effective agenda and building support. You will develop your capacity to maintain the coalition and sustain momentum in order to get things done. You will be able to solidify your proactive leadership skills with a unique coaching session with Prof. Bacharach.

The Proactive Leader model is based on Prof. Bacharach's over 30 years of research. The premise is that successful leaders rely on a set of people-leading skills that can be learned. Prof. Bacharach's philosophy is that great leaders are developed, not born.

It is recommended, but not required, that courses be taken sequentially.
