University of Kansas Virtual Communication Assistants
The Virtual Communication Assistants, from the University of Kansas, are a series of tutorials designed to assist individuals in various interpersonal tasks (interviewing, chairing a meeting, conducting research, etc.). Each virtual assistant was developed and constructed by student teams with advice from faculty. These online resources are not complete in themselves but have links to relevant www and non-www material. "Effective Interviewing:The Virtual Interviewing Assistant " has information on communicating as well as links to other sites.

NY City Small Business Resource Center
The New York Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) was originally started in 1997 by the New York City Partnership and Chamber of Commerce (NYCP). The Small Business Resource Center's mission is to help small business owners locate information sources and assistance programs throughout the City. In partnership with the NYCP, The New York Public Library's Science, Industry, and Business Library (SIBL) has redesigned and updated this site.

Catherwood Library
The Catherwood Library is the most comprehensive resource of its type in North America. Its collection of 200,000 books, journals, pamphlets and related materials, now complemented by extensive access to electronic resources from around the world, supports education and research in nearly every aspect of the workplace. The Library also houses the Kheel Center for Labor-Management Documentation and Archives. Founded in 1949, the center is the most venerable archives of its kind in an academic institution.

ILR: Access
ILR: Access, a fee based service, was established in 1977 to meet the demands of individuals throughout the country and the world for access to the information and expertise available within the Catherwood Library. Services include document delivery, subject specific literature searches and bibliographies and referrals to experts.
