Disability Services Policy

East side of Ives HallThe Martin P. Catherwood Library is committed to providing all members of the Cornell community with the best possible access to library materials and services. Thus the library will make every effort, within the limits of available resources, to meet the library needs of members of the Cornell community who have disabilities.

Students with short- or long-term disabilities are encouraged to register with Student Disability Services. Other members of the Cornell community with disabilities are encouraged to self-identify with the Office of Workforce Diversity, Equity & Life Quality. Advance notification enables the library to provide disability services in as timely a manner as possible.

Cornell University Library (CUL) provides a formal statement of the library's policy on providing services to people with disabilities and general information on Services to Persons with Disabilities.
