Reference

Catherwood Reference deskThe Reference Department of the Martin P. Catherwood Library is a partner in the teaching, research, and service mission of the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. We serve a diverse clientele, including undergraduates, graduate students, teaching faculty, administrative staff, alumni, ILR practitioners, citizens of New York State, and all others interested in workplace issues. Our services include in-person, phone, and e-mail reference assistance; on-campus instruction; outreach programs; fee-based research services; and creation of unique instructional materials. In order to meet the changing information and technology needs of our users, the Reference Department staff maintains awareness of the latest trends in the fields of industrial and labor relations and library science.

Reference staff are available at service desks in each of Cornell University's twenty libraries, or via e-mail or telephone, to help you find information and use the services, collections and resources available in the Cornell University Library.
