ABI/Inform

ALT-PRESS WATCH
Full-text database of selected newspapers, magazines, and journals of the alternative and independent press. Basic or advanced subject searching takes you to in-depth articles on contemporary society, including coverage of the peace movement, ecology and the environment, labor, indigenous peoples, public policy, and grassroots organizing. This coverage of diverse points of view and perspectives complements the reporting in the mainstream press.
ALTPRESSINDEX
Indexes journals covering cultural, economic, political, and social change. Business Source Premier

The Business Source Premier database is a comprehensive, business periodical database that includes scholarly journals and business periodicals covering topics such as management, economics, finance, human resources, labor studies, accounting, international business and much more. It contains content from full text sources ranging from general business periodicals such as Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, American Banker, etc. to academic journals such as Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management, Academy of Management Review, Review of Economics & Statistics, etc. It provides cumulative indexing and abstracts for 3,010 business journals and cumulative full text for over 2,470 journals. This database also includes Country Monitor and Industry Yearbook Reports from WEFA, 35 country reports from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and Wall Street Words. The peer-reviewed full text content in Business Source Premier is unmatched, and full text backfiles are available for many journals back to 1990. Additionally, Business Source Premier includes embedded images for many of the full text journals.

Coverage dates: 1984 - Present
A multilingual, multidisciplinary database indexing books and journal articles in the humanities (63%), social sciences (33%), and economics (4%). It is strong in religion, the history of art, and literature, with particular emphasis on current trends in European and world literature. Updated monthly with more than 872,000 records. Includes a surprising number of workplace issues.
GenderWatch
GenderWatch is a full text database of publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas. Labordoc, the International Labour Organization (ILO) Library's database, contains references and full text access to the world's literature on the world of work. It covers all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, human rights and technological change. Much of the collection focuses on developing and transition countries, and a special effort is made to acquire material published in developing countries. Labordoc provides comprehensive coverage of material published by major research centres, international and regional organizations, labour administrations and non-governmental organizations, as well as providing references to articles selected regularly from over 500 journals.

Restricted to Cornell community, Lexis-Nexis' Academic Universe provides access to full text resources on topics including current and general news; business and financial information; newspapers; company directories; government and politics; medical and health topics; accounting, auditing, and tax; federal and state laws; legal cases; and regulations. Proquest Dissertations and Theses
With more than 2 million entries, PQD&T is the single, central, authoritative resource for information about doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. Dissertations published from 1980 forward include 350-word abstracts written by the author. Master’s theses published from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. UMI offers over 1.8 million titles for purchase in microfilm or paper formats. More than 600,000 are available in native or image PDF formats for immediate free download. Coverage begin in 1861 to the present.
PsycARTICLES
Provides full text access to articles from journals published by APA and allied organizations since 1988. Covers general psychology and specialized basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology.
PsycINFO

PsycINFO database provides access to the international literature in psychology and related behavioral and social sciences, including psychiatry, sociology, anthropology, education, pharmacology, and linguistics. Includes applied psychology, communication systems, developmental psychology, educational psychology, experimental human and animal psychology, personality, physical and psychological disorders, physiological psychology and intervention, professional personnel and issues, psychometrics, social processes and issues, sports psychology and leisure, and treatment and prevention. From 1967 to 1979, PsycINFO corresponds to Psychological abstracts, but beginning in 1980, the online database contains more references than the print publication. It also corresponds in part to the PsycLIT CD-ROM product.

TCB (The Conference Board) research is a searchable database of full-text research reports on the latest issues in business management and US and global economics. Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI)
ISI citation databases are multidisciplinary databases of bibliographic information indexed to be searched by subject, author, journal, and/or author address. They can also be searched for articles that cite a known author or work. Cited reference searching allows use of a given work as if it were a subject term, to identify more recent articles on the same topic.</
SOCIndex with Full Text
590 "core" Sociology journals dating back to 1895. In addition, this file provides data mined from more than 500 "priority" coverage journals as well as 1,040 "selective" coverage journals. Also includes indexing for books, monographs, conference papers, and other sources. SocINDEX offers coverage for sociology and all subdisciplines of sociology.
