Since Lafe Solomon became Acting General Counsel of the NLRB, the activities of his office—from handling the agency's first social media §8(a)(1) cases to the high-profile decision to issue a complaint against the Boeing Company— have drawn unprecedented scrutiny. In addition, as the Board's top lawyer, he has been charged with implementing and, where necessary, defending Board initiatives, such as the election procedure rule and notice posting requirement, and the Horton decision, which found arbitration agreements with class action waivers violate § 8(a)(1). He has brought the NLRB new attention in the halls of Congress, the media, and law firms around the country.

Join Lafe Solomon for a discussion of his view of the NLRA, and hear commentary from:

  • Steve M. Swirsky, Esq. (ILR'75), Member, Epstein Becker & Green PC
  • Brent Garren, Esq., Deputy General Counsel, SEIU Local 32BJ
