The NLRB under Mark G. Pearce has issued several decisions and regulations that continue to spark controversy. Headlines have included cases and rules involving the micro-bargaining unit decision in Specialty Healthcare; the "speed-up" election regulations, now on hold; the Dana decision, upholding pre-election agreements; the Notice Posting Rule, which may be headed to the Supreme Court; and a stream of 8(a)(1) violation cases, including class action waivers in Horton, employers prohibiting discussions involving ongoing investigations in Banner, and, of course, the use of social media by employees.
Join us for a lively discussion of these and other issues with:
Mark G. Pearce, Esq. (Cornell, Arts & Sciences '75), Chairman, NLRB,
followed by responses from:
Gwynne A. Wilcox, Esq., Partner, Levy Ratner, P.C., and
Marshall Babson, Esq., Partner, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, and former Member of the NLRB.
