About the Program
The Labor and Employment Law Program offers a mix of programs for attorneys to continuously sharpen and update their skills. Through workshops and conferences, policy forums and seminars, the program will offer updates on changing legal issues and legislation affecting the workplace, analyze court and administrative agency decisions, rulings and guidelines, and provide opportunities to present/share views on the impact of proposed legislation to legislators and decision makers.
With access to the scholarship of the faculty of Cornell University, we will offer multi-disciplinary perspectives to labor and employment law practitioners by including historical, sociological, economic, and political perspectives on the workplace and the law.
The Cornerstone Workshop Series are designed to provide instruction and skill building to those new to the field of labor and employment law, those transitioning to new areas of law, and those interested in acquiring a greater knowledge of a specific area of labor and employment law.
They provide a unique educational opportunity through interactive sessions with some of the best known professionals in the field. Each course will include ethical issues and concerns interwoven throughout the instruction. All programs provide NYS accredited CLEs, offered through the Cornell University Law School, for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
