Online Programs for Trade Unionists

Union leaders do not need to be lawyers, but, in order to effectively represent their membership, they need to be familiar with the laws that govern the employment relationship.  This series of web-based seminars is designed to provide union stewards, business agents, and other union officials with practical legal knowledge that will be useful in day-to-day interactions with both members and management representatives.

Some topics are offered as stand-alone seminars, and others are part of a certificate program.  Individuals can sign up for an entire certificate or take as many (or as few) individual sessions as they like.

If pursuing a certificate, sessions marked "Required" must be completed in order to be eligible to receive the certificate.

All sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. (EDT).
