Public Sector Collective Bargaining

This course examines the historical development of bargaining in public employment, the evolution of State and Federal bargaining theory and practice as well as impasse resolutions and techniques frequently found in this sector. Special emphasis will be given to developing an understanding of the similarities and differences between public and private sector bargaining and how this has affected tactics and strategies employed by the parties.
