Black Trade Union Leadership Academy

The Black Trade Union Leadership Academy is a program designed to give emerging Black trade unionist the skills and concepts that will help them to be a successful union leader. The curriculum has been developed at the request of and with the participartion of a number of outstanding Black leaders and labor educators.

The course consists of four sessions, which will take place on alternate Saturdays over six weeks this spring, on April 19, May 3, May 17 and May31. Each session will last from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM; topics will range from "Blacks and the Labor Movement Today", to leadership, goal-setting, planning and implementation skills.  Attendance to all four sessions is required. Space in this class is very limited, so please register early.
