Yet current demographic and socio-economic changes are redefining the American cultural landscape and its institutions. This course aims at exploring and analyzing these historical, cultural and economic changes as they shape workplace culture. Emphasis will be placed on how changes in attitudes, values, perceptions and communication techniques regarding "different" groups can have a positive effect on corporate culture in the direction of greater productivity and equal opportunity.
