Cornell University's ILR School research faculty assist organizations in collecting and analyzing data to guide their strategic decision making. Recent examples include:
- A project through the AFL-CIO to analyze ownership and employment trends in the arts and entertainment industry to assist those unions in developing collaborative approaches to organize and collective bargaining.
- A major project for a state federation to assess readiness on the part of affiliate leadership to engage in developing a common statewide labor agenda.
