This workshop will help union representatives develop and improve basic skills needed to forcefully and effectively enforce the terms of the collective bargaining agreement in ways that build the union. Key topics include preparing for the grievance hearing, the importance of group action, and dealing with difficult mangers at the hearing.
Instructors
Ken Margolies directs labor organizing training at the NYC Cornell-ILR School, and worked previously on the staffs of SEIU, CWA and the Teamsters.
Sandy Pope is president of Local 805 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
