Current research studies the causes and correlates of transitory labor earnings variance, the earnings dynamics of teachers who switch to other occupations, and the relationship between the earnings dynamics of workers and the labor market power of their employing firm.  He also studies topics in the economics of education, predatory lending, and job loss. 5
