Douglas L. Braunstein is a managing director and the head of Americas Investment Banking for JPMorgan, having previously served as head of the Global Mergers and Acquisitions group. Mr. Braunstein is a member of the ILR Advisory Council and the Cornell University Council.

New Mechanisms for Resolving Workplace Conflict with Jay W. Waks (‘68, JD ‘71), David B. Lipsky (‘61) and Martin F. Scheinman (‘75, MS ‘76).
Jay W. Waks has been an attorney with Kaye Scholer LLP in New York City for more than 34 years. Mr. Waks is a member of the ILR Advisory Council and the first ILR alumnus to serve as chair of the Cornell University Council. This spring he will be given the 2007 Groat Alumni Award.
David B. Lipsky is the Anne Evans Estabrook Professor of Dispute Resolution in the ILR School and Director of the Institute on Conflict Resolution at Cornell University. He is currently the president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. Prof. Lipsky received the Groat Alumni Award in 1998.
Martin F. Scheinman has more than 25 years of experience as a full-time ad hoc and contract arbitrator in private and public sector disputes. Mr. Scheinman is a member of the ILR Advisory Council and was the recipient of the 2006 Groat Alumni Award.
