Yujie Cai, China

Yujie CaiYujie Cai is a Ph.D. Candidate at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, China. His research interests include strategic human resource management, high performance work systems, service sector productivity and competitiveness, volunteer workforce, impression management, psychological empowerment, and the Chinese context.

Yujie has been involved in a number of research projects focusing on strategic human resource management. He also participated in a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and conducted research on human resource practices for volunteers and service quality in large-scale sporting events. Currently, he is reviewing macro and micro human resource management research in the Chinese context. Yujie is also a member of the Academy of Management and the International Association for Chinese Management Research. 

Yujie is visiting the ILR School as a Fulbright researcher. He will conduct research on human resource practices for volunteers in the service industry and will survey the comparative institutional perspectives on work and employment as a part of his research.
