Yoon-hyung Cho, South Korea
Yoon-hyung Cho was a Research Fellow at Hyundai Research Institute (Hyundai Group) in Korea. Before joining the Research Fellow at Hyundai Research Institute, he was a Research Fellow at the Seoul Economic Daily. He received a Ph.D in Business Administration (OB/HRM) from the University of Ajou in Korea. His major research interests are cross-cultural differences in a global economy, leadership, organizational changes at the workplace, and strategies for conflict resolution.
A more recent area of interest concerns the trust building in business negotiations that changes strategies of integrative bargaining, contingent workers' employability and psychological contracts. He has published many articles in Korean top-tier journals (Korea Research Foundation, KCI: Korea Citation Index) and received 2006 best paper award from the Korean Academy of Management.
During his stay at ILR, he will be writing various papers (cross-culture, leadership, trust and employability etc) and doing research in effective industrial education systems and social relations.
