Sophia Hu, Taiwan
Sophia Hu is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Business in Ming-Chuan University in Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a doctoral degree conferred in the area of Business Administration, majoring in organizational behavior and human resource management with a minor in industrial organizational psychology. Dr. Hu is a particularly specialized in field of compensation, performance management, competency and talents development.
Her research interest is in reward allocation decisions of cross-culture studies. She has been further engaged in doing researches with a focus on the cross-cultural studies on organizational behavior. Her scholarly papers have also been published in many academic journals.
During her stay at ILR School she will focus on the topic "The Impacts of the Emigration of U.S. High-Tech Professionals and Industries into Asia." Her visit is financed by the sponsorship of post-doctorate program of Nation Science Council in Taiwan.
